Wildland Fire Lessons Learned
Interagency Organizational Learning
Lessons Learned is an interagency program supported by the Federal Fire and Aviation Leadership Council consisting of the five federal fire agencies.
It was set up to improve safe work performance and organizational learning in interagency wildland fire. Overall goal is to promote a program of "Train as you work and work as you train". Designed to serve the entire incident management community by
a) improving performance, safety and efficiency,
b) improving organizational learning,
c) sharing knowledge, and
d) promoting organizational change.
The Lessons Learned Center Library is a growing collection of articles, books, periodicals, reviews, and papers on wildland fire topics, including lessons learned, best practices, and wildland fire curriculum source material for instructors.
